Princess Sumaya University for Technology offers opportunities to its students and staff to study and to teach or train in higher education institutions in Europe under the international credit mobility scheme which is part of the Erasmus+ European programme. It also makes the same opportunities available for staff and students from Europe to come to the university.
 
International Credit Mobility Projects
The Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) is a mobility scholarship program funded by the European Commission that enables the exchange of bachelor's and master’s degree students for study abroad periods, and doctoral candidates to carry out research/studies relevant to their doctoral projects. The exchange is for limited periods of 3 to 12 months. Credits earned and research work done during the exchange period will be recognized by the home institution after students return home to continue their studies. The scholarships cover a monthly allowance and a contribution to the travel cost. If not covered by other means, the students are, in general, responsible for insuring themselves during their stay at the host universities according to their terms.
 
Partner Universities
More than 650 students from all over the world will come to study in the UAL next year, adding up to more than 5% of our total students. Indeed, the UAL participates in various mobility programmes such as: ERASMUS, ISEP, Pima and Anuies.

One of the most important elements of quality assurance in higher education is transparency. In addition to transparency, the Course Information Package (CIP) of Ataturk University will also provide important contributions to practice better planned education, provide adequate program acquirements of students, recognition, accountability and easing mobility in higher education. As a result of these, through increasing the quality of higher education, the mission of the CIP is to contribute to the training of students, who are academically and professionally competent graduate in their fields.

İstanbul Şehir University (ŞEHİR) is a non-profit, private higher education institution established by the Foundation for Science and Arts in 2008. The University of Pavia is one of the oldest universities in Europe. An edict issued by King Lotharius quotes a higher education institution in Pavia as already established in 825. This institution, mainly devoted to law studies, was then chosen as the main education centre for northern Italy. Enlarged and renovated by the Duke of Milan, Gian Galeazzo Visconti, it became the University of the Duchy, officially established as a Studium Generale by Emperor Charles IV in 1361.

Varna University of Management (VUM-former International University College-Albena) is an international business school located in Europe, Bulgaria. Students from over 40 countries receive excellent education in Business and Marketing, IT, Computer Sciences, Tourism and Hospitality Management and Gastronomy and Culinary Arts. VUM started 20 years ago as a college of tourism and gradually evolved into an accredited university with wider emphasis on management.
 
The University of Vilnius, one of the oldest and most famous establishments of higher education in Eastern and Central Europe, was founded in 1579. Hasselt University is a young university that has achieved enormous growth in the past four decades. The Limburg University Centre (LUC for short)–the predecessor of Hasselt University - officially opens to students in Diepenbeek, two years after the legal authorization of the creation of an autonomous university institution in Limburg. LUC starts with six programmes: mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, dentistry and medicine.
 
History of RTU dates back almost 155 years. The establishment of RTU, then Riga Polytechnicum (later – Riga Polytechnic Institute), was closely connected with the economic and political changes in Europe in the middle of the 19th century: rapid development of manufacturing and railway transport, erection of bridges and other engineering constructions. Riga was rapidly transforming itself into a developed industrial centre. The main task of the school was to educate and train technical intelligentsia who would be capable of working with new manufacturing equipment and proposing new ideas for new achievements.

The Mevlana Exchange Programme with Turkish Universities
Mevlana Exchange Programme aims to exchange students and academic staff between Turkish and universities worldwide. Students from PSUT may study in a Turkish partner university for 1 to 2 terms and academic staff may lecture abroad from 1 week to 3 months.
 
Student Exchange
The documents that should be demanded from the students in the application are transcript, candidate student application form, language score, copy of the student ID.
The eligibility criteria: Grade point average (GPA) of associate degree and undergraduate degree students must be at least 2.5 /4. GPA of graduate student (MA, PhD) must be at least 3,00/4. You should convert this grade to percentage system.
During the evaluation, 50% of grade point average and 50% of language scores are taken into account and students are ranked using cumulative value of these two factors.
If the education language or course language in the host university is the mother tongue of the student, he/she is not obliged to prove his/her proficiency.
The education language of Istanbul University is generally Turkish. However, we have some faculties that give education in English or partly English. Furtherly, various type of language proficiency is required for foreign language, literature and philology departments. The students’ language proficiency must be adequate to follow the courses in the host faculty.
The decision of which students will benefit from Mevlana Exchange Program with or without scholarship will be finally taken by İstanbul University Mevlana Exchange Program Coordinator depending on the total scholarship amount allocated by Turkish Higher Education Council. The result will be announced in our website (mevlana.istanbul.edu.tr) Please check our website periodically from April.
 
Academic Staff Exchange
Academic staff could participate in 2016-2017 Mevlana Exchange Program for minimum 2 weeks, maximum 3 months. The documents that should be demanded from the academic staffs in the application are Academic Portfolio and Academic Staff Information Form
Portfolio must include: 
· List of publications or projects on the subject that he/she wants to work in the host university. 
· Work plan of the seminar that he/she will give in the host university.
